Our Ambassadors

Raising awareness. Sharing stories. Making a difference.

At National MSA Research, our Ambassadors help bring greater awareness and understanding to Multiple System Atrophy (MSA).

MSA is a rare and progressive neurological condition that affects individuals, families and communities. By helping share information, encourage conversations and support our mission, our Ambassadors play a valuable role in ensuring more people become aware of MSA.

Whether through community engagement, fundraising activities or awareness initiatives, our Ambassadors help strengthen the collective effort to support MSA research and the people affected by this condition.

The Role of Our Ambassadors

Our Ambassadors are volunteers who support National MSA Research by representing our mission through approved activities and initiatives.

Depending on their interests, experience and agreed role, Ambassadors may contribute by:

  • Raising awareness of Multiple System Atrophy.
  • Sharing approved information and educational resources.
  • Supporting fundraising events and awareness campaigns.
  • Engaging with local communities and organisations.
  • Encouraging others to learn about and support MSA research.
  • Sharing their personal experiences where appropriate and with their consent.

Every Ambassador brings a unique perspective, experience and connection to our mission.

The Importance of Awareness

For many people, Multiple System Atrophy is a condition they have never heard of until it affects someone they know.

Greater public awareness can encourage understanding, compassion and community support for individuals and families navigating an MSA diagnosis.

Our Ambassadors help bring MSA into everyday conversations and encourage people to become involved in supporting research and awareness initiatives.

Meet Our Ambassadors

We are grateful to the individuals who generously contribute their time, voices and experience to help support National MSA Research.

This section will recognise our officially appointed Ambassadors and highlight their contributions to our mission.

Ambassador profiles will be added as they are approved for publication.

Become an Ambassador

Are you passionate about raising awareness of Multiple System Atrophy and helping make a difference?

National MSA Research welcomes expressions of interest from people who share our mission and would like to contribute through community engagement, awareness and approved fundraising activities.

You don’t need to have a personal connection to MSA to express your interest. We welcome people from different backgrounds who are motivated to support our cause.

Ambassador appointments are subject to the organisation’s needs, role requirements and approval processes.

Express Your Interest

Interested in raising awareness of MSA? Tell us about your interest in the Ambassador Program.

Ambassador appointments and authorisations are managed separately. The form opens in a new tab.

If you’re interested in becoming an Ambassador, we’d welcome the opportunity to hear from you.

Please contact info@nationalmsaresearch.org.au with a brief introduction and information about why you’d like to become involved.

Our team can discuss the Ambassador role, opportunities and relevant onboarding requirements.

Together, we can give MSA a stronger voice and help build greater awareness, understanding and hope.
