Annual Reports
Transparency, Accountability and Our Commitment to Combatting Multiple System Atrophy.
At National MSA Research, we believe transparency and accountability are essential to building trust with our community.
As an Australian registered charity, we recognise the importance of responsible governance, appropriate financial management and clear communication about our activities.
Our annual reports will provide an opportunity to reflect on our achievements, share information about our charitable work and communicate our progress towards our mission.
Our Commitment to Transparency
National MSA Research was established in October 2024 with a commitment to raising awareness of Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) and supporting scientific research into improved diagnosis, more effective treatments and ultimately a cure.
We recognise that the generosity of donors, volunteers, sponsors and community supporters makes our work possible.
We are committed to managing charitable resources responsibly and providing accurate information about our activities.

Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission
National MSA Research operates through Rare Neurological Disease Research Ltd, an Australian registered charity.
The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) maintains a public register containing information about registered charities.
Visitors may consult the ACNC Charity Register for publicly available organisational information and lodged reporting documents.
Annual Information Statements, financial reports and organisational annual reports are different documents and may have different publication and reporting requirements.
Responsible Financial Management
National MSA Research recognises the importance of managing charitable funds appropriately.
We aim to maintain suitable financial records and ensure that fundraising income, donations, operational expenditure and approved research funding are accounted for accurately.
Where information about research funding is published, we will distinguish between funds raised, funds committed and funds paid to research recipients.
Supporting Our Mission
Annual reporting is one way of demonstrating our commitment to the people and communities who support National MSA Research.
Our mission remains focused on increasing awareness, encouraging appropriate research opportunities and contributing towards a future without Multiple System Atrophy.
We are grateful to everyone who helps make our work possible.
